Admission Requirements into Ebonyi State University

An aspirant can gain admission into the university for a degree Programme under two entry methods which are the UTME entry and the Direct Entry.

Requirements for EBSU Admission Through UTME

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• Candidates must have at least 6 “Cs (Credits)” in their O’level result (s). This must include English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects related to their course of study.
• Candidates must score at least 160 in UTME examination
• Candidates must select EBSU as their first choice while registering for the UTME
• Not more than one sitting result is accepted for admission into the University
• Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.
• Above all, candidates must meet up with the required cutoff marks for their courses to gain admission into the university.

Requirements for EBSU Admission Through Direct Entry

Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) Credits in their O’level result. This must include English Language and Mathematics.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Candidates must get JAMB Direct entry form from JAMB to apply.

Candidates should have at least one of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, ICAN.
